Acupuncture treatment involves the insertion of fine metal needles into points lying beneath the skin, to treat underlying imbalances in the body. Only a slight prick is felt when the needle enters the skin. Chinese herbs may also be prescribed as part of the holistic approach of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

Holistic Massage

1 hour - £50.00. ½ hour - £35.00.

Our holistic massage is based around oil based Swedish massage (using techniques such as effleurage, petrissage and percussion). There is a focus on tense and stressed-out muscles and the whole experience will also impact your emotional wellbeing. The whole body is massaged, however certain areas can be concentrated on and other therapies can be combined (e.g. Reflexology), creating a bespoke experience, unique to each individual. Body and mind are brought together incorporating other relaxation techniques to truly enable you to deeply relax, renew and rejuvenate. The aim is to allow you to switch off from the day to day stresses of life and recharge your mind, body and soul.

Reflexology

1 hour - £50.00.

Reflexology is a holistic therapy benefiting the whole body and mind. Medium pressure is applied to areas on the feet (or hands).  Reflexology is highly relaxing and may help alleviate stress whilst also eliminating toxins from the body. The theory behind reflexology is that reflex areas of the foot correspond to reflex point, meridians, organs and systems of the body. Massage is also used around ankles and the lower leg. Acupressure points can also be pressed during a session, that can help relieve pain, improve blood flow and promote relaxation. 

Thai Foot Massage

1 hour - £50.00. 

Originating from Thailand, a Thai foot massage promotes good health and well-being. It is extremely relaxing, allowing you to drift off and be in the moment. The feet, lower legs and knees are all massaged with hands and a Thai foot massage stick made of wood. This stick is used in place of the thumbs and fingers to apply pressure to Thai reflex points.

Hot Stone Massage

1 hour - £60.00.

Hot Stone Massage originated from both China and India up to 3000 years ago. It is used to help relax and ease tense muscles and soft tissues throughout your body. Smooth, flat, heated basalt stones are moved gently across specific parts of your body. When your muscles are massaged with the stones, the result is a wonderful warming, deep, intense and nurturing whole body treatment. A perfect way to boost circulation too in the colder months!

Holistic Facial

1 hour - £60.00. 

Using Neal's Yard Remedies products, the Holistic Facial includes cleansing, toning, moisturising, exfoliation, steaming, face mask with ice globes, neck, shoulder, scalp and face acupressure massage. This facial not only boosts, renews and rejuvenates the circulation and layers of the skin, but is also deeply relaxing and calming. The ice globes are always a favourite! A full consultation will be carried out first to discuss your skin type, so the appropriate and best products can be used on your skin.

Pregnancy Massage

1 hour - £60.00. 

This is suitable for all stages of pregnancy, including pre-pregancy, post-pregnancy and fertility. A combination of relaxing massage and acupressure/reflex points can help reduce the stresses of having a baby and the pressures it puts on mind and body. A thorough consultation is carried out to understand your unique story before the massage begins. A large, long pillow is used to aid your comfort and most of the massage is done laying on your side. Packages are available at a discounted price if you would like regular massage throughout your fertility and pregnancy journey. 

Detox Massage

1 hour - £60.00. 

A Detox Massage can help to both detox your body and mind and is a great way to enhance this cleansing process. This is a full body massage including the abdomen, back, shoulders, legs, face, neck, head and feet. The massage increases the circulation to the lymph system, which has no pump, unlike the blood circulation system. Acupressure and reflexology points are also pressed and massaged to help detox and balance the whole body and mind. 

Indian Head Massage

1 hour - £50.00. ½ hour - £30.00.

Indian Head Massage, or 'Champissage' has been practised for over 1,000 years in India and is featured as far back as 4,000 years in Ayurvedic texts. It combines massage of the back, neck and shoulders as well as deply relaxing pressures on the head and face.
